Fear paralyses – absolute fear paralyses absolutely. It can’t always be rationalised for it is often irrational. The face of fear has many masks but our fears must be faced if we are to be free to live a life worth living.

So what fears are you facing? Are they long-standing fears that have dogged your life from childhood or are they the dogs that began to stalk the corridors of your adult mind?
Think of almost anything and someone somewhere is afraid of it. Some association or experience makes the normal become a nightmare and paralysis grips you. What grips one person has no hold on another – spiders, the dark, the outdoors, the indoors, youth, age, snakes, flying, driving, water, sunlight … where to stop? Now is the time to call time – STOP! That is if you want freedom.

This is time to make a choice for freedom over fear, for faith over doubt, to dare to believe that the goodness of God is for you, not against you.
