When John collapsed in 2001, no one knew if he would ever open his eyes again. Diagnosed with a severe Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), he spent weeks in a coma while doctors prepared his family for the worst. Medical science offered little hope, but John’s wife and a dedicated network of praying churches held fast to faith.

It was 2001, and my wife and I lived together in faith in Jesus. Then one day I collapsed on the floor, and wife called an ambulance that brought me to a hospital. I was in a coma for weeks, and the doctors said I had an AVM. Arterio Venous Malformation. People have died from these, and some never wake up to live again. Never. My Dr. told another Dr.
that I would likely not survive it.
I would wake up there for a short time, and talk to my wife, or my Dr. if he was near. Then I would sleep again in pain. Wife prayed for me, and asked other churches to also please pray for me.
Then in early January, I guess, I woke up and did not collapse again. No more coma! Thank you, Jesus!!!
Then to my surprise they let me go home with wife, and I got in the door helped by two relatives. My dog stayed in my room while I slept that night, and I guess he was guarding me.
I got better with time and got to drive again and in time made a full recovery, but it was not me, the Lord brought me back. Still, I did not know how long I would survive, but I am still alive and kicking today and living with wife. Now it is 2026? I guess so. All I can say is thank you God. Thank you, Jesus!!!
Who would have thought I would still be around. I guess only the Lord. THANK You!!!
